AnticArt is an antiques and jewellery gallery in central Rome, a few steps from piazza Navona. I built the site from scratch: page structure, catalogue, product pages, contact form, English version.
The base is WordPress with WooCommerce for the catalogue and Elementor for layout, so the owner can update pieces without calling me. Bilingual support runs through WPML: every page exists in Italian and English, and visitors from outside Italy land on their version.
Security was a large part of the job. I consolidated everything onto a single protection system instead of the three overlapping plugins you usually find, replaced a component that was not receiving official updates, turned on two-factor authentication, cut user permissions to the minimum needed and put backups on a schedule.
Then the part nobody sees but that brings visitors: SEO with Yoast, verification on Google Search Console, GDPR compliance for cookies. The site is being finalised, waiting for the final photographs of the pieces.
